Education

As a doctorally prepared and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), She brings over fifteen years of rigorous academic and clinical training to my role in mental health care. Rose is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who earned her Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of North Carolina (UNC) Chapel Hill and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at UNC Wilmington. She brings a well-rounded academic background and is deeply committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care.

Rose has gained valuable experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, caring for individuals across a wide range of needs and levels of acuity.

Experience

My professional background began in Mental Health Critical Care Nursing, where I gained valuable experience managing complex medical and psychiatric needs. However, a strong desire for deeper patient engagement led me to transition into psychiatric nursing, where I worked extensively in acute inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting individuals facing severe mental health crises.

Driven by a passion to support individuals in outpatient and community-based settings, I pursued advanced training as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have since gained diverse experience in private practice and outpatient clinics, providing care to individuals with varying levels of mental health needs, including those with severe and persistent mental illness.

In addition to clinical work, I am a member of Association of psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, North Carolina Nurses Association and American Nurses Association

Today, I remain dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care that empowers individuals to achieve meaningful and lasting wellness.
